Members of the APC are volunteers.

The Association is managed by a Bureau whose members are elected by its members at the General Assembly.

All important decisions of the Bureau are decided by majority vote.

Parents are invited to become members of the Association at the beginning of each school year.

The Bureau holds elections to elect new members or to renew some mandates in September. Any parent of the school who is a member of the APC can stand for election.

1. To represent the parents of the school to the Management, the Administration, the teachers, the Board and the institutional bodies.

We take part in:

  • the different Councils: School Council, Disciplinary Council.

  • Committees: Health & Safety, School Travel Plan, Food & Catering

  • We work on the School Plan and on the implementation of concerted actions with the other schools in London and the cultural service of the Embassy.

  • We represent and advocate for families at Consular Scholarship Councils.

  • We work in close collaboration with the School Management and the Board.

2. Listening to and informing all families

and encouraging dialogue between parents, teachers and the school administration.

3. To provide financial support to families and projects

that contribute to the development and enrichment of our children, through fundraising activities, including the annual Charity Gala which represents 70% of the association's income.

These funds are then devoted to :

  • Participation in the solidarity fund dedicated to families via our partner FSF

  • Financing and co-financing of educational projects (events, trips, outings, end of year show, Radio Récré, etc.), projects requiring equipment and materials (children's playground, playground equipment, equipment of the multi-purpose room with curtains and sound and light systems, etc.), independent projects such as the All Connected operation which will allow for the distribution of 15 laptops to families in need at the start of the 2021 school year

  • Co-organising key events such as the Brevet graduation evening and the Careers Fair

4. Animate and connect the parental community around events and services:

  • Parent events: welcome evening, parent evenings, conferences, etc.

  • Family events: Winter Fair, School Fair, secondary pupils parties, Musical Festival

  • Services: class photos, school insurance management, book and uniform fairs, etc.
