Fun Race 2025

After a huge success in its first year, the association, together with the school, will organise the 2nd CFBL Fun Race.

Get ready for an exciting day of fun, fitness, and fundraising! The Fun Race is open to all ages and abilities, with different race lengths, medals, and awesome prizes up for grabs. Whether you sprint, jog, or walk—this race is all about having a blast while supporting a great cause!

When: Saturday 17th May, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

Where: Hampstead Heath Athletic Track (Parliament Hill Athletic Track, near the Lido, NW3 2JP)

  • 9:30 am to 10:30 am: Race number distribution
  • 10:00 am: 400m race
  • 10:30 am: 1km race
  • 10:45 am: 3km race
  • 11:15 am: 5km race

From 12.15pm: we will award the medals and we will end the celebrations with a shared picnic.

Registration costs £10 per adult and £5 per child. Last-minute registrations will be allocated a race number, but not a T-shirt (unless there are any left).

The race

You can choose between the following distances:

  • 400m (1 lap) for PS, MS and GSM only
  • 1km (2 laps)
  • 3km (7 laps)
  • 5km (12 laps)

You can run in disguise, and your friends are welcome!

Bib collection

You can collect your bib on Friday 18th May. One of our team members will be outside the Cathcart Street gate between 15.30 and 18.00. If you can’t make it then, you will still be able to collect your bib on the morning of the race.

On the day

  1. Please arrive at 9:00 am to collect your bib if you haven’t done so the day before. If you have your bib, arrive at 9:30 and don’t forget to pack it! 
  2. ⁠Bring a water bottle with you, there will be water stations where you can refill. 
  3. There will be daycare for children on the day.
  4. There are lockers available to store your valuables, but you will need a £1 coin to use them. 
  5. ⁠Be careful when crossing the track and follow the instructions. 
  6. ⁠Bring a picnic for after the race! 

There will be a prize for the biggest fundraiser so keep sharing your page and encourage everyone you know to support you! Can't make it but still want to support our efforts?
